Yet Another Reason Why We Love Portland: The Roseys

Posted on May 6, 2017

In the world of advertising, few things carry validation for living like winning an award for your creative work. Come on, who doesn’t like getting a star on their paper or a smiley face on the quiz? Sure, a trophy is just a hunk of metal on a shelf (or in a broom closet), but we get excited seeing our clients and our client’s clients get recognized for their hard work. This year’s Roseys was yet another instance of Digital One busting a button seeing so many of our friends up on stage. Besides, it was a great opportunity to get out of the office and have fun with a photo booth.

The 2017 show may have set a record (but who’s counting) for the sheer number of award winning projects Digital One had a hand in creating. Of the awards of Merit, Excellence and the All Mighty Rosey, twelve (again, who’s counting) were sound designed and/or mixed here. What’s not to love about that?

We hate to play favorites, but we especially love the two projects that took home Roseys in the category of Audio:

Nike’s “Free Anthem” created by The Hoffman Bros

Microsoft’s “Clap your Hands” created by CMD.

But it doesn’t end there. Check out this lovely list of award winners with our sound all over them:

Mammoth Mountain’s “Sounds like Fun” created by Nemo Design

adidas’ “Aaron Rogers Z.N.E” created by Kamp Grizzly

See International’s “A Chance to See Again” created by Blue Chalk
