We are looking for the right person to be our new client services, production and marketing assistant. This position serves as our receptionist, concierge, scheduler, digital marketing assistant and all around assistant to our staff producer. The right candidate for this position will recognize him or herself in the following description:

You had impeccable attendance in school and an excellent on-time record.

You enjoy reading and writing, love going to films and use your Tivo to watch the commercials for a second time instead of skipping them. You believe in honest business practices.

You embrace technology and see computers as your friend for creating cool things. You are not afraid of change.



As the person chiefly responsible for the overall appearance and vibe of the studio, it is imperative that the candidate be self-motivated and detail-oriented in fulfilling the following responsibilities and duties:

Answering phones, directing calls and taking messages

Welcoming clients when they visit our studios

Maintaining the appearance of the studios before, during and at the end of each workday

Keeping our clients fed, hydrated and properly caffeinated at all times

Maintaining our inventories of office supplies, snacks and beverages

Assisting, and providing coverage for staff producer

Scheduling sessions for clients

Managing our contact database

Attending industry events

Maintaining company digital marketing and social media venues

This not a position for an aspiring sound or video editor.


Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree, ideally in a communications or media-related discipline

Solid competency with Macs and MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite: experience with Filemaker Pro and Quickbooks a plus

Solid competency with CSS, HTML, CMS (WordPress)

Solid competency with web/cloud based solutions such as Google Analytics, Google Apps, Dropbox, Skype, etc

Solid competency with using Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc for business

Solid competency with blogging, writing press releases, new posts, etc
