In Portland, and in communities all over the country, the issues of homelessness and its potential solutions are passionately debated. But all too often, these conversations happen without the perspective of those who’ve experienced it firsthand.
Our friends at Outside The Frame have set out to remedy that, one film at a time.
Outside the Frame was created to help homeless youth gain skills and learn to solve problems through filmmaking and production. Please join us to see the fruits of their efforts as well as a film about the process itself.
The films will screen Tuesday, June 7th at good ol’ Revolution Hall in SE Portland. Outside The Frame chose Digital One to handle the audio mixing for the film, and we are hopeful that the project will open doors for some great kids to whom most doors have been shut.
