Every year thousands of Portlanders get together for one giant naked bike ride, known as The PDX World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR). This event takes place across the world, but Portland has, for many years, held the title of the “World’s largest”. In 2012, director Ian McCluskey and a volunteer crew from NW Documentary decided to document it. Many months later, with a final edit in place, Digital One was approached to help out with the mix. Seeing as Dig1 engineer Ryan Mauk is an avid cyclist (both naked and otherwise), and a participant of the past four PDX World Naked Bike Rides (not to mention that we’re all big fans of NW Documentary) it was a perfect fit.
This year’s rendition of The World Naked Bike Ride is happening this Saturday, June 8th, as part of Pedalpalooza. Be sure to check it out, and please consider making a donation to help keep this awesome event going!
